Guiding You Toward Lasting Wellness
Hello, I’m Stephen,
The founder of The Counseling Coach. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), and Certified Trauma Professional, with over 13 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families achieve meaningful, lasting change.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor, qualified to provide supervision and mentorship to psychology students and counseling interns seeking hands-on clinical experience in a supportive, professional environment.
My work is guided by a simple but powerful principle: “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body.” I believe true healing happens when emotional wellness and physical well-being are addressed together, which is why I integrate evidence-based counseling with innovative approaches like Martial Arts Therapy. This unique program combines movement, discipline, and therapeutic principles to build emotional regulation, resilience, confidence, and self-awareness.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people navigating trauma, addiction recovery, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Every client’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to provide practical tools, compassionate guidance, and a safe, supportive space to grow stronger and more resilient.

Beyond my clinical practice, I’m passionate about expanding access to mental health care. Through our nonprofit initiatives, we provide structured programs that make counseling and personal development opportunities more accessible to individuals and communities in need.
My goal is simple: to help you build lasting mental and emotional wellness, gain clarity, and discover your inner strength. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationships, or your family, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

My Mission
My mission at The Counseling Coach is to help individuals and families build lasting mental and emotional wellness through compassionate, effective counseling that treats the whole person. With over 13 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I integrate evidence-based therapy, trauma-informed care, and innovative approaches like Martial Arts Therapy to support real, sustainable change.
I believe deeply in the principle that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. That belief guides my work every day—whether I’m helping clients navigate trauma, addiction recovery, or life’s challenges, or expanding access to mental health services through our nonprofit programs. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where people can grow stronger, more resilient, and more fully alive.
